Our board-certified anesthesiologists serve as medical directors at OSI and address the unique needs for anesthesia services in an outpatient surgical setting. They play a vital role in assessing a patient’s medical readiness for surgery and they are unique in their advanced knowledge of both the medical illnesses a patient undergoing outpatient surgery may suffer, as well as how specific operations may affect patients based on their age, medical history, fitness level, and more. They bring decades of expertise to the role and minimize the use of opioids whenever possible. Patients walk in and out of OSI the same day and anesthesiology plays a critical role in patient satisfaction including patient comfort, pain management, and quality outcomes.
