Christopher J. Nanson, MD

Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Christopher Nanson is a Board Certified orthopedic surgeon with a special interest in reconstructive joint surgery with an emphasis on hip and knee reconstruction. He specializes in the direct anterior approach, one of the minimally invasive techniques used in hip replacement surgery. He is trained and certified in robotic assisted MAKO partial knee resurfacing and total knee and hip replacements.

Dr. Nanson completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona and received his master’s degree in public health. He received his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed a surgery residency program at Phoenix Orthopedic Surgery followed by an orthopedic residency program at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Dr. Nanson completed an adult reconstructive surgery fellowship program at OrthoCarolina Hip and Knee Center in Charlotte North Carolina.

Dr. Nanson is a native Oregonian and his favorite recreational activities include golf, skiing, hiking and cycling. He enjoys reading and spending time with his family.
