Bryan Putnam DO FAOCA is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist with over 20 years experience.
Dr. Putnam is a native Oregonian who attended medical school at the founding osteopathic medical school in Kirksville, Missouri; Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed anesthesia residency at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Mo. Returning to his roots in the pacific NW, Dr. Putnam spent time working at several ambulatory surgery centers in the Portland area as well as Meridian Park Hospital where he was the medical director of anesthesia. Dr. Putnam became a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Anesthesia in 2014 and won the Arnold P Gold Foundation ‘Humanism in Medicine Award’ in 2015. Dr. Putnam has participated in over half a dozen medical mission trips to Mexico and Guatemala as a clinical anesthesiologist. His multicultural and multi location experience pushed him to become the co-medical director of anesthesiology at Oregon Surgical Institute where his unique skill set can be best utilized to create the best possible outpatient experience possible. In his free time, Dr. Putnam enjoys training and competing in Ironman and half-ironman triathlons as well as spending time with his wife and three girls.
