Orthopedic Care Coordinator
Katelyn graduated with her bachelor’s degree from University of Portland in 2012. She worked for a short time at a skilled nursing facility before transitioning to working at Meridian Park Hospital. Katelyn worked on the surgical specialties department for 7 years. During this time, her passion for orthopedics grew, and she became an orthopedic care coordinator. In 2019, Katelyn joined the Oregon Surgical Institute team, where she enjoys working in a variety of roles. Katelyn is trained in pre-op and PACU, where she loves caring for patients. Her infectious laugh and caring heart help ease patients’ anxiety and provide comfort in an unfamiliar situation. Katelyn’s main role, as an orthopedic care coordinator, helps patients navigate through the pre-op and post-op phases of a total joint replacement. Along with her fellow co-workers, Katelyn is committed to providing the best possible experience and outcomes for all patients.
A little about Katelyn, she is married to her high school sweetheart and has two energetic boys. She loves spending as much time as possible with her family. Katelyn enjoys visiting the beach and spending time outdoors.
