Jenny became a nurse in 2009. She started her career at Meridian Park Medical Center. Jenny’s favorite patients were the Total Joint patients.  She loved helping to walk with them as they took their first steps after surgery.  She became an Orthopedic Coordinator in the hospital setting in 2014. In 2017, Jenny joined Julie and Sarah in creating the Total Joint Program at Oregon Surgical Institute and worked on-call at OSI once the doors opened in spring of 2018.  Jenny transitioned from her full-time job in the hospital to Oregon Surgical Institute in early 2019.  Together with her fellow coordinators, Jenny has presented a poster at the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses annual conference and also presented a live webinar sharing how the total joint program at Oregon Surgical Institute functions to provide excellent patient care efficiently through the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses in 2022.

Outside of work, Jenny enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering at her kids’ school, and baking.
