Orthopedic Care Coordinator
Sarah began her nursing career in 2009 in Las Vegas, NV after graduating from Nevada State College. In 2012, she moved to the Portland area and began work at Meridian Park Medical Center. Sarah became an Orthopedic Coordinator of the Total Joint and Spine program in the hospital setting in 2014. In 2017, Sarah joined Jenny and Julie in creating the Total Joint Program at Oregon Surgical Institute and in 2019 transitioned from her full-time job in the hospital to Oregon Surgical Institute. Together with her fellow coordinators, Sarah has presented a poster at the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses annual conference and also presented a live webinar sharing how the total joint program at Oregon Surgical Institute functions to provide excellent patient care efficiently through the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses in 2022.
Prior to becoming a nurse, Sarah obtained a BA in Economics from the University of Colorado. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, which consists mostly of traveling to youth hockey tournaments around the western United States.
